Hi guys
I have a 2012 Fatboy lo and im getting a Lo Rng
Signal during a bad start up... I have a new battery. .. my trip changes too.. need help!!!! What is it?

Usually means you're low on gas.
But it could be an indicator of a weak battery or a loose ground. If you know your tank has gas and it doesn't reset after driving a mile or so check your battery and ground connections

A month ago I got a code and my speedo went a bit screwy. Engine and alarm indicators came on. Turns out the battery in my fob was weak and it lost contact with my Tmax. Replaced battery, problem solved.

It happens on mine too still. If I hook up the battery tender, I will get one good start out of the battery and then it starts again with the lo rng. It think its just a sign of a weak battery and I need a larger cca one.

Mine did that when the battery was weak, or the terminals weren't tightened on the battery. Caused rough starts and stuff which reset the trip-o-meter and range-o-meter until the computer calculated it again from the fuel capacity.
