95 heritage soft tail classic
hi i bought the bike three years ago and it was still wearing aset of metzlers 880s time for new rubber ive thought about avon cobras or maxxis as i can get both with white wall anybody used maxxis on this model? If so what are they like as to wear and grip?

If you are concerned with wear, get Dunlop American Elites; if grip is of more concern and mileage doesn't matter, get the Avon Cobras...
Dunlop American Elites are dual compound, and built for mileage. Avon Cobras are built for grip (currently running them on my '05 FLSTN) I am going to put American Elites on my '95 Heritage Special in the not so distant future as I will be using this bike for more trips of distance and mileage is more of a concern....
I have no experience with Maxxis street tires, just their off road stuff...
