Could be, but my wife's Rocker gets gawkers too, even when I'm riding it and she's nowhere around.

The Rocker seemed like it was significantly less powerful than a Sportster? I'd say there must have been something wrong with the Rocker the OP was looking at, so its probably best that he let that one go.

A sportster seems like it would be a fair amount smaller and lighter. I would expect a rocker or almost any softail to feel slower and less maneuverable, especially compared to a 1200 sporty

Whatever works for you. My wife and I have both a Wideglide and a Rocker, and haven't figured out yet which we prefer from a riding standpoint. Both of us go back and forth on preference.
There's no question though that the Rocker gets more gawks and "thumbs-ups"!

I can't figure out what you mean about the trans on the Dyna being "way stronger", so could you please explain?

I cant wait to get my rocker on Sunday yeaaaaa!!!!, my wife finally gave me the ok, I could of had any bike I wanted literally, was first going to get a brand new cvo rocker 26k but its all done? where's the fun in customizing, so the bike never gets boring, you can always do something, as far as power, im doing the 70 rear pulley 30 front sprocket right off the bat, that will help a bit, has exhaust intake, tune, etc, in the winter when im not riding, ill get into cams and motor work, I GAURANTEE YOU it wont be sluggish at all.....nothing looks like a Rocker, or a Breakout, in my opinion, I love fat boys, but who doesn't have one? not many rockers, when I looked for mine 12 in the entire usa????? well on cycle trader and chopper exchange, 2k fatboys and everything else, im with sarah, im sure ill get the thumbs up, and if I don't, ITS FOR ME ANYWAY not anyone else, wife gave me the green flag, im going for it, im all in.hahahha
