I'm looking to increase the rake on my breakout. not a lot. looking for a chopper look. any suggestions on where to find parts to help me with this? i want the frame to be slanted an 1 1/2 to 2 inches upright as well.
I fitted HHI +3 degree triples to mine.
I have a 23" wheel so the tyre diameter is a bit larger and the increased rake helps to correct the geometry.
No issues at all so far with flopping into corners or any hint of speed wobbles

I guess you're well aware that increasing the rake while maintaining the stock 21'' tire will lower the bike slightly in the front and reduce ground clearance thus making the lean even worse. In fact it has quite the opposite effect to slanting the frame except you plan on using longer fork tubes, too.

im also going to repaint the tank and have it say 'Hardly-Driveable'.

I think he is wanting to cut in the frame and add to the backbone and down tube as well.... at least that is what I kind of understood from the OP. OP if that's what you want, more power to ya, not my style, but to each his own. I do hope you intend to keep it forever if that's the route you do choose, as I don't see it helping your resale value in any sort of positive way....

If I was going that deep, I'd just buy a second frame that supports a softail setup and better meets what he's trying to do. It technically loses its "Harley" title at that point, but he can set the stock frame aside for the guy who only wants a stocker down the road.
