Default Blind triple trees

Anyone have any ideas on how to assemble the top threaded nut onto the slider tubes? My top nut has a threaded set screw in it for filling purposes and I have tried an allen wrench on a socket with extension and pushing the spring down and turning but I just can't get the thread to catch. Anyone invent a clamp or something for this?

With the bike in the air you just need to push the nut to preload the spring and turn it on. Where did you get the nuts with the fill hole?
