I have a 99 Fatboy and it doesn't stall out all of the time. Every two or three days on in the morning it'll start, run for about 60 seconds or so, rev up and then stall out. After that I'm unable to start it for up to 24 hours or so. If it starts in the morning, I have no problems for the rest of the day. Each time I take it in to a mechanic they tell me it starts fine, but I'm not convinced they're trying to start it first thing in the morning. Suggestions, please?
oops...I have input but it wont be what you want. Maybe someone else chime in with an answer.
Me, I'd start with fuel pressure and see what I have have in the mornins and go from there, sounds like need a fuel additive clean it out.

It's a new battery and one of the first things I did was test the batter (which needed to be replaced) and new spark plugs. The connections to the battery are clean.
if the carb hasn't been cleaned in a while that's where I'd start...check the petcock screen an replace the fuel line. ethanol is hard on fuel lines an those little pieces can reek havoc
