This is either the 4th or 5th time that the left signal light and high beam light have gone out on the dash on my Fat Boy. The signal works and the high beam work, I just can't see if I have switched them on.
The dealership has replaced the part on warranty each time, it's going back on Friday for yet another replacement. I told them to stop replacing it and fix the damn problem this time. Any time I ride in heavy rain this has happened (the dealer washed the bike this week after the clutch recall was dealt with also, so it could be heavy handed washing).
How is water getting into the dash? What can they do to fix it? Should I ask them to call the Moco and open a complaint on it? 11 months of warranty left and I don't want to be paying for it myself in another year.
Damn electrical gremlins, my 12 Heritage had 5 pages of warranty work when I sold it, mostly all electrics.

Check the bulb in the socket, could have vibrated loose.
If not that check the wires at the socket under the dash, both are doubled up at the socket for dash indicator lights.
This sucks. I remember you going through this early on, but didn't know it was still happening.
My recommendation is to write an email to HD customer service and explain the situation along with the number of times it's been "repaired." My experience is that the HD engineering people will be in the phone with your dealer's service department very quickly.
Also, I think you have a BCM problem. I recall you discussing the waterproofing steps that the dealer and you had taken. The next logical cause is excessive current or voltage from the BCM.
I had two fail on my Dyna. In my case, the alarm light would light and stay lit. This was annoying, but then I learned that the alarm was also disabled. I had to write an email to HD to get better technical minds on the issue. It turned out that a lot of BCM's were failing.
Ask your dealer to have a good look at the (left) switch housing on the handle bars; I've had some problems with the head light "flashing" after having washed the bike; it turned out that the switches on the left weren't properly water tight...
I got a new cable under warranty and took the lights apart and put some protective film over the area of the circuit board that wore through the last time
I remember my reply was to put a dub of clear silicone on the strip. Dealer also change mine twice and after I put silicone, it hasn't failed ever since. Same thing I do when I replace headlight housing even in cars. I always put clear silicone coz I worry they're not completely sealed from the Chinese factory.
