I just purchased a new to me Night Train. It was in the process of being customized and does not have a "Brake Light" or "Front Blinkers" Can anyone tell me where the connections for these two items would be? I'm assuming there are connectors under the tank and seat but don't know what I'm looking for or what they look like.
What year is the bike? Are you saying that the front turn signals just aren't connected along with the brake light?
Sorry, I was pretty sure they only made the Night Train 3 or 4 years and that they'd all be the same...However it is an '07. Again, no ft blinkers and no tail light. I can not seem to trace any wires and was thinking I'd find connectors somewhere in the vicinity.
I know I am going to sound like a smartazz but if you are planning on modding the bike.. specially electrical stuff.. then everybody here is going to recommend you get the HD Service Manual.. well worth the money... do not guess with electrical stuff.. especially on a HD.. a mistake with electrical components will most likely prove to be costly.. quite more than the cost of the service manual.. .just my 2 rusted cents.. :-)

Thanks for the advice Joe but I've been building bikes for 45 years just not sure where to locate these sockets if they haven't been taken off. In fact by looking at the manual it's kind of difficult to determine the colors of the wires. Plus the fact that everything may have been located in the tail light for the rear and there isn't one. I would never apply power to a wire but the opposite, test to see if the wire has voltage! I'm still not sure where the best place to splice in would be though since I'm not finished taking the wheel and tank off.
Front turn signals should be on the top bar of the frame, look for a connector with the wire colors of: Black, Orange, Tan, Brown, Green/Yellow, White, Violet. That will be the front turn signal connector. The rear should be located in the seat pan area or on the back side of the rear frame near the rear mud guard look for the connector with the wire colors of: Brown, Orange/White, Violet, Black, Black, Red/Yellow, Blue, Black.
