Hey Guys
I have to put new tires on my bike. As i said early I am very new to this hobby. Can anyone recommend which direction to go in?

The stock Dunlops, if that is what you have, are fine, many of us prefer them over all others. The dealer will be very high if you are not capable of removing the rims and just having them remove tires, install new and balance them and then you reinstall them yourself on the bike. Best tire deals are online by far but you need to find an indy to do the work. Call the local indies and talk to them. Some will give you a great deal if you buy from them.

There are many tire threads on the forum and you will get many different answers. You need to determine if you want a softer tire that grabs the road well but wears quicker or a harder tire that will last longer but doesn't have the traction of the softer tire. Use the search function on the forum and click the use Google box...there will be many results.
With that being said, I prefer the stock Dunlops
