Default seat on softail
Does anyone know if there is a drivers backrest that can be added to a stock 2016 softail seat? thanks

In response to the same question you posted in the other thread, what Softail model are you referring to; Heritage, Deluxe, Slim, etc?

Yes.

HD only offers the signature seat w/backrest for $550.

Other options are all over the Internet, i.e., eBay. I found several for under $100. Be aware that the ones I found under the $100 price range, require the removal of the passenger pillion. This is fine with me.

Check out YouTube, there is a video of someone who installed one on his Softail.
Air Wing, JM & Grasshopper Limited (my choice) are suppliers. I plan to purchase one soonest.

I have a Grasshopper for a Deluxe. Much much in the appearance department, but for temporary use for extended trips, it works great.

Got mine off ebay for about $70. I use it on long trips and it only takes a minute to install or remove. You can kind of see it in this pic.
