Default Turn signal relocation question

For those of you that have relocated your t/s on a fatboy to the passing lamps, I was wondering if you placed the spacer between the passing lamp bracket and the mounting bracket for the turnsignal. The one that comes with the kit is not big enough for the passing lamp bolt to fit in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hmmm

there is a dome shaped spacer you use, one of the dome shaped spacers is too small, but the other 2 are just fine to use

My relocation kit has 2 domed spacers but no others. The passing lamp kit has 2 spacers in it that would probably work.

heh i drilled one of my long sockets.. a HOLE.. lol a large hole and gave it a angle as well.. and fitted the wire through...
a. first marred the side of the socket while in a clamp (used a simple vibrating engraver with a diamond tip)
b. took the smalled bit I had and slowly ..heh made a hole
c. kept on increasing the bit size to make hole bigger
d. finally angled the bit of a larger size to get a hole that a wire would fit without roughing up the casting on the wire

but there is an easier way, take off the lamp and pull the wire back up through....tighten the nut..and push the wire back down through

Ok,
I have the bottom part of the passing lamp bar in the Nacelle but I had to get longer screws for the upper part........butthere was onlyis 1 1/2 and 2 inch bolts.....it appears that I need a 1 3/4's inch bolt for the upper part. The spacers seem to be really long and it seems to be too wide on top. Any suggestions as I am about to say f*&(k it and grab a beer!
Frustrated to all hell!

hehe sorry went out, there is a f'n spacer at top.. so there is a gap there.. its for perfect placement of the HD windshield..removable one that comes with spacers of it own
I didn't have to get any parts for the kit.. came with everything..besides some extra electrical quick connects that I had..like to make mine quick disconnect in case I wanna pull it apart after

don't know if u can do with out the spacers...

the aux light kit is a bitch heheh.. use a driver(handled) to use ur sockets so you can get some push behind them bolts
so driver.. adapter and your 1/2 inch socket

anyways I just got back from haven lunch with a hog member after going down to the dealer to show em wut I did to the bike :P

btw smoked lenses do not fit with the visored trims for the t/s they have their own lenses.. what a crock lol

Thanks man.
I have called it a day since we are going out with the kids for dinner.
I'll try again tomorrow after a trip to harley for some new spacers.
I have the detachable windshield but mine didn't have spacer but rather something else that looked like an "L" the attached the tins and the windshield kit bar.
Thanks for your help.
Is that your number? If it is I may call you tomorrow.
Ciao,
Rick
