Maybe he wants one thats a little more visible. Looking down at the odometer display isnt the most convenient. Nothin wrong with wanting something someone might want to see better...ecspecily if you wear a full face.

Glyder, ...thanks for your response. I haven't received an answer to my question yet, but at least you didn't bother to poke fun at a guy asking a simple question. I think that you're probably a good guy.
Im sure there are aftermarket tachs that would work for you.
Heres an idea for you if you plan on using a tuner. You could mount a Dynojet PowerVision or V&H FP3 using your smatphone as a display and it will show RPMs and a lot of other usefull info.
You can use it like this without flashing/altering the stock tune since its a 17 and you might not want to alter it for warranty purposes.

Smurfsdad, Ignore those types of replies. There is one in every crowd. By the way, None of us have aftermarket parts or accessories on our bikes. We leave them stock so we can all look alike. Glyder54 probably has the best idea since it is non invasive and you can utilize soooo much from the software. I have the Vance & Hines FP3 aftermarket accessory that I shouldn't have for tuning and monitoring and absolutely love it. Don't hesitate to ask any questions in regards to your new ride. Congrats!!!!!
