I'm new to the forum, having just purchased a 2016 breakout.
I'm interested in knowing if I purchase straight bar risers, will the existing breakout clock cluster fit to these - or do you have to use the spacer option and retain the bent original riser (if that makes sense)?
Some people have fitted either the short CVO risers or the Thunderbike flat risers w/o problems. When I tried to mount the Thunderbike flat risers I ran into an issue....the switch housings were touching the tank on either side at full steering. That's why I decided to use 1.5" riser spacers, too. But actually that turned out to be a good move in terms of ergonomics/reach.
Anyway both options should not cause a clearance issue with the speedo housing.
