Hello all,
I searched the forums for info about short risers for a breakout and all I found were guys going the other way and/or thunder bike's risers.
Having stupid long arms and just liking the way the TB risers look on my bike I wanted to go the shorter route. I'd pull the trigger on the TB risers, but $300+ shipped is just too much to justify even for cycle parts!
I measured mine and if you go any shorter the speedo housing will contact the tank. Now if you go with a straight riser instead of the OEM curved ones it may give you the distance you desire. Unless you can modify the speedo and flip it around that may work but I looked at the indicator light panel and it would be tough to flip it around the other way.
