Default Catalytic Converter on Slim

Looking for info from anyone who has done this. I was thinking of buying some slip- on's on but after looking I think it is possible to remove them and just put some baffles in them.
Bike is a 2017 Slim S

What I did on my '13 Slim is to remove the muffler part at the
'slip on' connection, drill out the baffle rivets and remove the baffles.
I then cut off the cats, but thats up to you...

Result - sound was alot louder & raspier. I didn't like it. I switched
the exhaust sooner than I had planned on doing it. Just get some
new slip-ons if thats what you plan on anyway....

good luck,

T.

Oh, I didn't know the catalytic converters are not supposed to be there and the MoCo just put them in there to get rid of their waste parts...

I learn something new every day

The effort in removing that converter material is not worth the crappy sound that results.
As WKNDS suggested, just buy some slip ons.

You'll be glad you did.

Thank's for all the replies. I will be going with the slip-on mufflers.
I need to keep the original set-up to re-install for warranty issues.
