I thought the CVO’s already had SE exhaust? Also I think the CVO Deluxe has Heritage exhaust, so Street Cannons for a Heritage may work if it doesn’t already have them.
I’ve had mine on for a while, they do get a bit louder (but not “loud”) as time passes. I like them.
I was not able to get the slash cut tapered end caps (Part Number 65100049) to index the way I wanted them though and ended up using Slash Up/Down/Out 3.25 in. End Caps (Part Number 65100044). I think I am going to try to drill some additional holes in the mounting rings and remount the tapered ones now that the riding weather seems to be done for the year.
(Hmm ... gotta look at that heat shield gap on the bottom muffler)
I find the street cannons have a considerable deeper rumble tone and increase in volume as you turn the throttle. Stock remain quite at open throttle and are considerably higher pitch throughout the range. Keep in mind HD is following government sound restraints so street cannons will not be as loud as off market slip ons that do not have to keep to government standards.

When I did the stock air cleaner, tune, and street cannon upgrade to my Fat Boy, what I noticed in terms of sound is that when accelerating the pipes emit a satisfying, kind of throaty roar that was not present before I did the upgrades. Otherwise the bike is not especially loud. This is exactly what I wanted and I have been very happy with this exhaust system and I do not intend to mess with it further. The bike runs fantastic so color me happy.
My brother recently took delivery of his new 2018 Limited. He had the Dealer install Street Cannons. I was assuming since they were an EPA legal set of mufflers, they would be the same wheezy mufflers as stock. I was pretty suprised at not only how much louder they were than the stockers, while still "claiming EPA compliant, but how dang nice they actually sounded. All things considered.

I’m a little concerned that they are going to be too short. It’s hard to tell from the one pic.
...
If the end caps for the older mufflers will fit, you can add some length that way... the tapered end caps are about 3” long (I’ll try to actually measure one over the weekend.)

Apples and Oranges. Dresser street cannons are completely different than those for Softails.
