Default SE Street Cannons

Anyone running SE Street Cannons on a Fat Boy S or a Softail Slim S? I have a Fat Boy S and looking for a little bit more sound and think the Street Cannons would be what I'm looking for. I listened to a lot of youtube videos with different slip-on's and they seem to loud for what I'm going for. HD website says you cannot run the SE Street Cannons with the 110 so any comments on that?

If any of you are running the Street Cannons on your S series with the 110 could you please comment on the exhaust note and any performance impacts? I'm hoping for no loss in low-end torque and a throatier sound.

Thanks all!

Well I guess I'll make my own review. Ordered a set yesterday. Heard the RCX slip-on's and IMO they were too loud for what I'm looking for. I'm hoping the Street Cannons will give me the sound I'm looking for.

Please do.

These don't seem very popular here and most of the post about them seem to go unanswered.

I have a set in the garage to go on one day (was a black friday sale too good to pass up).

The build quality is very very nice.

They are not light.

I hope they aren't too loud.

I put Street Cannons on my Limited because I wanted more sound but still wanted to be able to hear my radio. They served that purpose well because they sound much better than stock, but I wouldn't run them on my Softail. They just aren't loud enough or have the deep sound I like on a cruiser. I went with V&H on it and they're perfect for me. Deep throaty sound and loud but not too loud.

But everyone has their own definition of "perfect" so get what you like and don't worry about what . Good luck with the Street Cannons.

Also, I saw zero change in performance on my Limited after installing the cannons.

Thanks all! I'm anxious to hear them on the Fatboy S. Unfortunately I'm in Michigan so I'll just be able to start it up once they are on.

How did the Street Cannons sound? Did you get them installed yet?

They sound nice. Deeper exhaust note. Still not the typical Harley sound at idle. Nice little bark when you rev it up. I haven't been able to ride it though so no review on how they sound out on the street and going down the highway. IMHO it's a happy medium between an aftermarket slip-on and the stock cans.

I was looking at them when I first got my bike, but once I saw the Crossbacks I couldn't go back. Thought they would be quieter listening to sound bits online. You definitely can't go by that. Only way to hear them is put them on or find someone with them. I must say it is an initial shock, but you adapt to it quickly. I don't want to go death by the time I am 50 either though!

Yeah you don't get the full experience listening to YouTube videos. I'm happy with the street cannons as of now but haven't ridden it. We'll see if that changes this summer. I do like the looks of the Crossbacks on the bike! I can see what you mean by touching your leg on them!

I tried to get the Canons for 2014 Softail CVO Deluxe but they were only available for the standard Softail (brackets are different). So will probably go with the V&H 3" twin slash , although I did find Shorty dual chrome mufflers from HD # 80679-12 that fits the CVO Softail Deluxe so I am going to look into them. I am to old for noisy exhaust and don't want to **** my neighbours off.
