Does anyone have a diagram of the spacers for a 2004 softail? When I removed the back wheel I kept the spacers all in the correct order and then managed to drop them! D'oh!
The workshop manual does not shown all the items (swingarm, brake holder, wheel etc) in the sequence.

Thanks for your reply. I have similar pics in the workshop manual & parts books (see below), but they don't show the sequence everything goes onto the axle. E.g. The adjusters and brake carrier are not shown.
I can't do anything to help before the weekend but as a last resort I'll happily strip mine down and take pics but mines an '09 and I wouldn't know of any subtle differences between the model years.

WOW! If there has been no help before then that would be great!
Thinking about it, it would be a great resource for others.

Hi,
The more I read this the more I think I'm missing something.
I take the rear and front axles out of my bike every winter as part of the service (quick wipe down and film of grease to stop them seizing). I also had the rear axle assembly completely off the bike when I relocated the coil behind the splash guard and I really don't remember that many parts or spacers to worry about and I'm the first to take pics in case I forget and I haven't had the need to do so for this assembly.
Now either there's a lot of difference between model years 04 -09 or I'm misunderstanding the problem. Do you have pics of the spacers you're having trouble deciding where they belong?
