The HD Reduced Effort Clutch Kit (p/n 36808-05) is more than just the ramp and ball. It includes anew clutchspring.
This is why I like the MRC kit. Different angle on the ramps and bigger ***** = easier clutch pull. No light springs necessary. The MRC kit will even work with the heavy spring used in the big bore kit.

I used the HD kit on my Heritage. It worked fine with the heavier clutch spring that was required with the big bore kit.

Just order the ramps for the HD reduce pull kit. Around 25 bucks and keep your stock spring. You will still have original lock up but will be easer to pull. With the money you save also order the shop manual and do it your self. I ordered the SE clutch spring with the ramps and still have a stock pull.

Looks like I am outnumbered, but the MRC kit is better! But seriously, I have pulled both and the MRC kit is far superior; you would be amazed at the difference between the two kits.

Here is my suggestion: If you want to make your clutch pull a little easier and save a few bucks, get the Harley kit. If you want a significant change, spend the extra money on the MRC kit.

BTW, I promise I don’t own MRC stock! It’s just that I was in your shoes last fall. After some research, I put the MRC kit on my wife’s bike and she LOVES it. It made such a big difference that I feel the need to tell anyone who is willing to listen.

OK, I'll get off my soapbox now...

Don't feel bad for pushing something you believe in. Just because I put a harley kit in, doesn't make it better.

It's people like you that lead other to great products.

Well, I didn’t feel bad…until now. Why did you have to go and be all magnanimous?
