Is anyone here running the python 2:1 pipe? I had a thunderheader on a previous bike, but I think that is a bit too loud. I like a pipe with a deep tone and want it to bark only when I crack on it. Anyone have any input?
Not sure on the Python , But my V & H Pro pipe now that its broke in has a deep rumble and a great bark when I get on it ! Very happy with it and it has great reviews on it for performance..
I have that pipe on my 04 fatboy and I freaking love it! Deep Deep rumble. Not too loud great sound! I did have my heads workrd on and opened up so it got louder but still not obnoxious!
Neighbor put them on two yrs ago on his carbed 04 FB.. Added 204's last yr.
Don't really talk to him much, but hear him go by all the time..
Personally the cams did make them thump harder and they are getting a little bit louder as time goes on. but just might be the cams.
Over all IMO they are good sounding pipes.. haven't rode with him so don't know what there like when he nails it... They have a fairly deep note to them and seem to be holding up OK..
My tuner says there a hard system to tune. ???? just him.???. when I asked him about them.
never seen a sheet on them so don't know about the #'s.. or curve. improvements.
I wouldn't be afraid of them but probably not in the top 5 of the 2-1 systems, just don't know.
