Default A/M wheel choice help

2015 Heritage that I'm customizing and I'm ready for new wheels. I know I want gloss black powder coated wheels and twisted 60 spokes. Not really sure if I want to change the wheel diameter for 2 reasons.

My tires are perfect condition with 1500 miles and we ride the Colorado mountains and don't want to change the handeling of the bike. Also, if I use my tires it saves me money.

So my question is would you guys keep the wheels the original 16 inch diameter or would you go like 21 inch front and keep the 16 inch on the rear?

Wheels are really confusing to me. The wrong wheel choice is an expensive mistake and would like to do this once.

Lastly, I'm on a budget. I know...Harleys budgets shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

Any forum vendors here that can set me up with the correct wheels at a decent price?

This is really a personal preference, but if I was to spend the money to get new rims, I'd definitely be putting a 21" on the front.
The only thing with the 21 on the front is you may want to look into lowering the front after putting the larger wheel on to get it back to some what level.
It really just depends on what you like. Honestly I was just looking around at rims, and if you want quality rims, your looking at dropping some cash. Seems like ride Wright and sinister rims are some of the best quality and best reviews for spoked rims, but your looking around $1100 or so per rim... Good luck

Thanks. Something for me to think about lowering the bike.

No problem. Putting a 21" rim on the front with a 120 tire usually lifts the front up about 1.25" over stock height

Have you considered 18s front and rear? I think that would look good too.

I'm pretty sure the only option right now for 18" white walls are from vee rubber which are complete garbage.
