This is from an old forum post, but I am in search of the ever so allusive data transfer cable for my speedometer. My new one did not come with a cable or instructions, so I've become very friendly with You Tube Videos and HD Forums. Can you please tell me where you found one to purchase? Or if it would be at all possible to allow me to borrow your if you still have it?

I bought a used speedo tach with out the data transfer cable, I'm hoping that if I use the cable it will marry to my bike, right now I am getting the vin error message, I know it was used on a different bike so I am hoping that if I use a data transfer cable it will marry to my bike.
