I have used stock cables with 10" strip bars on a couple of Softails, only had to change the brake line. The stock bars are 2" wider and have a lot more pullback than those RSD bars. If the cables on your Slim are the same as a '13 model they are a mile too long for the stock bars. Mock it up...Bet you will be ok
