Well I ordered the pingel. I already turn my fuel off every time just to prevent jackass's flooding the carb so it shouldn't be an issue. I was thinking of getting one with vacuum but the placement of the petcock would look hideous with the diaphragm there also. Guess we will see what happens. Thanks for everyone's input, useful and non lol.

Same here on a 2002 Fat Boy. It's off now for the winter, but during season I never shut it off.

If running a Pingel I would put an inline fuel filter on it. Unless Pingel has changed there filter screen it is way to coarse and will let too large of debris through. JMO.

Don't forget to plug or cap the vacuum line. I have a manual and have never had any problems and I seldom turn it off.
