Default Suburban Speed 98" Done! "Sleeper"

Just got my bike back from Suburban Motors in Thiensville, WI. Bike had 53k on it, and a nice running stock/stage 1 88". The original plan was to go with a cam swap to eliminate the chain drive cams and install a 2 into 1 pipe. Then one thing led to another. Ended up doing the 98" big bore high compression "Street Stomper" kit they offer. It consists of the following:

Bore stock jugs
Custom forged Mahle pistons
S&S 585G cams
45mm Mikuni carb (or programmer for FI)
SE HD clutch spring
Adjustable pushrods
Daytona Twin Tec ignition controller
Ported & flow benched heads
Compression releases
1.9 Intake valves
Dyno tune
labor, gaskets, fluids, etc

I added the following options:
Rinehart 2-into-1
Nicer (used) rocker covers (mine were flaking and they gave me a good deal)
Oil cooler
2 spare keys.

End result: 103hp, 107tq.

Havent had a chance to ride it due to the weather and salt, but it sounds mean and runs beautifully. The clutch wasnt as stiff as I had thought it would be. Time will tell. I'm going to have to learn to ride this bike all over again!

And now for pictures!

I wonder whats up with the weird dip in the torque curve at ~2900RPM? Something doesn't seem quite right...

That and the dip at 6k. Wonder if thats related to timing, exhaust, and/or both? What compression did they set you up at?

If I remember correctly it's 10.5:1 or slightly higher. No more than 11:1. I thought that was interesting myself, it may be the result of the cams that are in there.

I don't think it's the cams. I've seen some where it was the exhaust. Post in the Engine section and see what some of the builders there say. They might have run into that before and have some answers or suggestions. At any rate congrats on the build. I'm sure it's a different bike now.

I would be less concerned about the 6k dip, because honestly how often are you riding around at 6000 RPM? 2900RPM is right about where I do like 80% of my riding though.
