I'm looking at a Fatboy that has 16" apes, however I'm not interested in apes. Would bars from a Street Bob or Wide Glide work without having to replace the cables or would I have to get shorter ones? My guess is beach bars would definitely need shorter cables?
You will most likely need shorter cables. You could probably go down to 14's and be alright, but anything shorter and you will have a lot of excess cable floating around...
