Slim plate relocation kit bulb replacement?
A few weeks ago I added the license plate relocation kit and the light worked fine. Today I had to remove the fender again to add a longer stand off to my left blinker. After everything was put back together the blinker worked fine but the license plate light didn't. I am not sure if it was still working before I started the project but just unplugging and re-plugging everything shouldn't have caused any issues, and the wire doesn't look damaged in any way. I am hoping just the bulb needs replaced but short of destroying the cover I am clueless how to remove the lens to get at the bulb., I removed to 2 screws at the back and with a flat head moved the 2 clips off the front of the lens but there must be a trick I am missing. Has anyone replaced a bulb on this kit?

I found some great information on the subject at the below link. Seeing the cover removed gave me the other tab points that allowed me to pry off. BTW, both my bulbs were blown. I believe I will follow the mod from the link below.
