Default Crossbones riser bushing install problems

I recently ordered a set of "Gooden-tite" poly bushings for my X-bones; the local "stealer" ordered them for me, so I am 90% sure it is the right P/N.

Anyhow, the darn things won't seat below the plane where my bars rest in the risers. What am I doing wrong?

This picture was taken after completely seating the bolt.

First guess ... wrong part number. I put them on my bones with no issues.

In the pi ture, it looks like those are bolts instead of nuts as the bo es eedz a thread adPter that screws into the to before the riseres. And then the nuts. Not bolts.

You might have it upside down. The bolt heads on bottom with thread coming up into the risers, with the nuts fitting into riser.

Is this a trick question!!

Here is a picture of what the springer stud adapeter look like mounted.
from there you add one bushing, followed by the riser. The one other bushing, then a washer and lastly the nut.
On the right side of mine there is a spring that goes inside the riser. I believe it acts as a ground?
After this sequence, you add the bars and clamps
