I am wrestling with the idea of putting a windshield on my Fatboy but am aftaid windshields, like saddlebags, ruin the look.
I now it's all a matter of preference, but I am thinking the small, quick detach are the best for long ride comfort and quick release for around town riding. Any thoughts fellow Fatboy owners?

I don't have a problem with how mine looks, and it is easy to remove. It is a little higer than I would have wanted but it sure makes longer/faster rides a lot more comfortable.

Buckeye,
I think the windsheild on your Fat Boy looks "PHAT"! I like it...
I went with the standard height quick detachable. I use it when I'm going to be doing a lot of highway riding or if it's cold. I agree the bike looks better withoutthe windshield but I also don't think it hurts the appearance too much.
Yours is about the coolest I have seen. It is way small, and makes me wonder if it deflects much wind?
I live in Florida, so it's mainly to deflect lovebugs from my face at night and a little wind on long rides.
Is your from Moco?
Itâs designed to keep the wind off your chest, and yesâŚit does a great job of deflecting bugs too. Trust me; we have our fair share of love bugs in Tx. It also does a great job eliminating fatigue on long ridesâŚbut doesnât deflect as well as a full size windshield. Itâs a happy medium between no shieldâŚand a full size. The bad part is this priceâŚitâs outrageous. Google windvest and youâll see what I mean. Donât get me wrong, itâs a quality product, but youâre going to pay. Iâm pretty tall, so I bought the 16â version. Itâs pretty easy to remove after you have the mounting hardware installedâŚonly two screws.
i have the standard height one from harley, i love it, it has saved me more than once from pee gravel, not to mention the bugs, so igive up a little in the looks dept... good luck in your choice.... kerry
