Default Front Tire Size Comparison

I have a '13 cvo breakout and am looking for a new front tire, the stock size is 130/60/21. I am considering replacing it with a 120/70/21,can anybody tell me what the difference in height would be? I know it will be a little narrower. The brand is a Dunlop elite 3. I have the same brand rear.

130X60 = 78

120X70 = 84

120 is 6 taller

The 130/60 is 78mm vs. the 120/70 at 84mm, so the 120/70 will be 6mm taller from the rim, or just under 1/4".

So the tire would be a 1/4 in. closer to the front fender, how close is too close for it to be worry free.

they move at the same rate so close is ok as long as there's a little room for heat expansion
