What do I clean the windshield with

 

I use Novus PC-10 plastic clean & shine.

 

First soften and remove insects and such by covering it with a towel wet with hot water and letting it soak (works best with W/S off bike) and then washing. After drying use Plexus as per directions on the can.

I use Bike Spirits (Original); good stuff. Use it to clean the whole bike. It easily removes/disolves bugs and road grime. You can pick it up at a dealer or on line.

That is the same stuff as Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish right? That is good stuff too...

 

Bug Slide, I use it on the entire bike also.

 

Lemon Pledge... on the windshield only.

 

I really don't know, maybe. I went through (tried) a lot of different cleaners/polish and I have to say that the Spirits is the easiest to use and does a best overall job.

 

Best product I've used is Plexus.

 

Anything that doesn't have ammonia in it. Ammonia makes plastic brittle and it will cause it to crack. It will not happen immediately, but it will happen.

Standard Windex has ammonia in it. They make an ammonia-free version.
