Thanks for the replies! I look forward to getting them installed. We'll see how it performs after the slip-on's and then I'll decide if I should get the FP3 or not.

I had a set of Rush slip-ons with the 2" baffles on my 2005 Deluxe. The bike is stage-2 with Andrews 48 cams. I lost a lot of low end response...they just don't have much back pressure and didn't work with my set-up. Only put about 80 miles on them, and decided to go with a good 2-1 set-up with adjustable baffles. The difference in low end response is dramatic.

I don't have a problem with Rush. They were well made and fit and finish was good, but just didn't work in this application. I think the 1.75" or 1.5" baffles will most likely produce more back pressure, so the OP should be on the right track. The 2" baffles were on the loud side too.

Labrador's suggestion for the lollypops is probably a good idea if you're loosing low end response.

The Rush slip-on's may work better with stock or stage-1 bikes, but I'd guess there's still some loss of low end response just based on my results.

I used Cycle Shack slip-ons and gutted stock mufflers (baffles drilled out) when it was stage-1 and the results weren't bad. None of these set-ups worked with the stage-2 cams.

Have the same set up and like them. 1.75" will be a bit louder

I did not tune after installing the 2" slip-ons. I was told I would not need to do anything besides install the pipes and enjoy them. So far so good.

Did you notice any loss of torque or decel pop?

Well I'll find out tomorrow whether or not I'm happy with the 1.75" baffles. Dealer is going to throw them on for me during the 1000 mi service. I'll see how she runs for a few hundred miles and if necessary I'll buy a FP3.

Already have them with the 1.75" baffle. I'll run them for awhile and see if that's the sound I'm looking for.

I had two sets of Rush Slip ons, then went with their full 2:1 system..... love it! I think it's the best looking 2:1 on the market
