I got the Rush slip-on's with the 1.75" baffles installed today and I'm a happy camper! I love the sound of them. I had the Screamin' Eagle Street Cannons on before which sounded nice but still not like a harley. Not sure if I lost a little on the low end or not. No tune at this point and the bike runs good. No to little decel pop not anymore then I had with the street cannons. My question to you all is what am I missing out on without an FP3? Is the bike going to run that much better with a map from the FP3? Would I gain in performance with a tune? Just wondering if it's worth the money or not.
I feel it doesn't pull as hard at low end but like you said it could be in my head. I'm just curios how much better it would run with a canned map from the FP3 tuner.
I decided to buy the FP3 tuner and it sure seems to run a lot better after flashing ECM! I applied the map for the Vance & Hines 3" slip-on's with standard baffles. Couldn't have been any easier to flash the ECM. Could be physiological but the butt dyno tells me I've gained the low-end torque back that I feel that I lost with the rush slip-ons and then some. Pulls real nice and smooth down low. Seems to pull stronger now! I think I'm going to leave alone for now and not play around with the autotune.
Dammit, thanks a lot. Now i'm going to have to go buy a FP3 tuner to see what it does to the bike.
On second thought, $400 is a lot to spend on something that may or may not help. I think i'll wait till I have $400 burning a hole in my pocket.

I've been running them for 7 years with no tuner, save your money. No decel pop, noticable torque increase. Again, save your money. You do have a free flow A/C, right?
It comes stock with a high flow A/C. Not sure if that is the same as a free flow.

I have the Rush slip-ons with the 1.75" and I am very happy with them. The sound is deep and not too loud. When you push on the throttle you get this growl that just makes me grin like a fool.
I did have to use a fuel manager (V&H FP3) because of backfiring. No more problems now.
I will recommend that you add lollipops to them. It makes a great pipe into an awesome pipe and gives you lots of back pressure that you will appreciate. I bought mine from DK Customs per the recommendation of one of the members here and I am very happy with them.
can you tell me the specific lollypop you bought? I got the 1.75" baffles and i think a back pressure would be nice!
