Aftermarket LED replacement bulbs or LED signal clusters are NOT all polarity sensitive. It varies from one manufacturer to the next.
For anyone who does not know what a Diode is...
A Diode will only allow current to flow in one direction. If you connect the wires one way, current will flow through it, connect it the other way, no current flow.

Which doesn't change what I said. Pretty sure the OP is using a product made by a company and not soldering up his own LED signal inserts. Different companies make things differently. Some are polarity sensitive, some are not.
All I did was suggest what I thought (and still think) to be a likely solution to help the OP. Not sure what the reasoning is for your know-it-all style crapping on my posts, but let's stick with helpful information for the OP from now on, okay?
I put LEDs on the rear of my V rod an had to put load equalizers on the turn signals or they wouldn't flash...the control unit was looking for more voltage draw from a conventional bulb. I didn't buy the whole box that replaces everything I just got 2 in line equalizers off ebay for like 5 bucks to trick the system. I put small 2 way LEDs on the back for turn an brake so I had the reg brake light an the LEDs for extra visibility.
