I recently bought some carlini gangster apes and high roller risers. In the process of installing them and I noticed that my bars of risers are egg shaped. The bar doesn't sit against the bottom of the riser. There's a gap between the bottom of the riser and bottom of the bar. Anyone have this issue?
Maybe they are just a press fit. But it almost feels like I can feel the chrome gouging as I tighten them down. Maybe once I go to fully tighten them it'll work out.

Nah, shouldnt be like that. Anyone with half a mind knows rippin the chrome results in in rust. Call them up, send em back if necessary. Carlini will work with you.
Should definitely not be gouging anything. Did you fit the risers to the bars with the riser bolts loose in the top triple tree so that you are sure that the risers arent clocked at all?

Sounds like the voice of experience on the half-a-mind thing
I emailed carlini today and sent them a few pictures and explained to them what I had going on. They responded and said they will get another set of risers sent right out and include a return shipping label. No questions asked. Great customer service right there.
Agree. Carlini is great to work with. Spoke to a very pleasant gent when I called for help with selection. Ordered the super sweeps - absolutely perfect.
