Default Softail front end question.

I love the beefier looking front ends of the Fatboy and the alike. My question is can I put the fatboy nacelle, sliders, and legs on my 2006 night train to thicken the look up? would I need to get a fatboy headlight as well? any certain yyear I need to be looking for? any other suggestions on how to achieve the look im wanting without swapping the whole front end and switching risers/handlebars. thanks in advance

The short answer is no.

The triple trees have no holes to mount them...they used to a make a kit to do just that...but I haven't seen one in a catilog in years.

You can get Fatboy/Heritage triple trees...but I believe the built in rake is different for the 16" wheel...though I have seen it done with the 21"

You could get some aftermarket inverted forks that are overall thicker. 58mm isn't as big, but they're bigger than the stock night train ones for sure. Doesn't help with the headlight components though.

I had started that project last year and decided not to do it but to do it you need the trees, lower fork legs, necklace, head light, and cow bells. Most can be found at a reasonable price used

I agree with this.
But I want to qualify it and say that you can easily buy a complete Fat Boy front end on ebay, craigslist, the local newspaper, and whatever..... and it's a simple 100% direct bolt on swap. Softail parts interchange for like a 30 year span. Find what you want, and go with it. But swapping the whole front end is not only the only proper solution, it's also a fairly simple one.
