Default Arlen Ness telescopic kickstand install

Looking for help installing the Arlen Ness telescopic kickstand. Do you have to drill and tap holes in the frame or does is bolt on? Couldn't find any YouTube videos so I'm asking anyone out here haha.

If mounting in the rear it shouldn't require any drilling. I put on on an 05 Fatboy and there were holes already there. Obviously, there could be some differences in the frame though. Been a while since I did it, but it I remember correctly, there were some plastic plugs in the holes I used.

It looked like there were two plugs in there, they just seemed in there pretty solid and I couldn't tell if I'd have to drill or not. Thanks for the help.

OK, finally got around to installing it. Is it supposed to be super stiff to move?

Yeah it locks into place, it's just really stiff to move back and forth. I'm wondering from anyone on here who has it knows if that's normal or if I need to hit it with some WD40 or something.
