I have been riding almost 50 yrs. Engine guards, well worth the money! Know how much it cost to get a paint shop to "fix" a few knicks when you have a unique color? Well the answer is "too much". I believe in them so much I installed front and back on my Heritage. All the touring bikes have them front and back; ever wonder why! I rode touring and sport/touring bikes for almost all of life. One paint fix will cover the price of guards front and back...besides, you can put them on yourself in 30 minutes for both sets. Best Wishes and ride safe....
