Just purchased a new '17 Heritage Softail Classic and going to install hd fork mounted wind deflectors.
Question: Do the deflectors mount on the outside of the windshield, or in-between the windshield and the passing lights, or inside the passing lights closest to the forks.
Could one of you guys send me a pic of the blow up view of the instructions?
I need to get the hardware but don't know what I need.
Bob
Shouldn't need any hardware. You may have to adjust your turn signals to clear them. I just removed the upper bolt, then hold the deflector up and put the upper bolt back in, but leave slightly loose. Then remove the lower bolt, swing deflector into position, then install lower bolt. Tighten both bolts up, then move to the other side.
what do you heritage guys do to get at the nut the loosen the turn signal? factory book isnt a help unless I'm missing it . no socket with the wire running up to the aux lamp. been trying to just pull em seems theyre just in the way. gotta push gs a little forwrd, they just hit the crash bar

I bought a cheap socket and took a dremel to it, looks like crap but works perfectly.
