Default Help installing fork mounted wind deflectors

Just purchased a new '17 Heritage Softail Classic and going to install hd fork mounted wind deflectors.

Question: Do the deflectors mount on the outside of the windshield, or in-between the windshield and the passing lights, or inside the passing lights closest to the forks.

Thanks!

I just recently added the deflectors to my 17 FLSTC.
Forget the instructions they came with....
Mount them on the out side....

Could one of you guys send me a pic of the blow up view of the instructions?

I need to get the hardware but don't know what I need.

I've read to watch you temps with those, they can affect how much air hits the motor.

Shouldn't need any hardware. You may have to adjust your turn signals to clear them. I just removed the upper bolt, then hold the deflector up and put the upper bolt back in, but leave slightly loose. Then remove the lower bolt, swing deflector into position, then install lower bolt. Tighten both bolts up, then move to the other side.

I bought a cheap socket and took a dremel to it, looks like crap but works perfectly.
