Ok, yes, there is a small gap now. I've seen a few bikes with the same fender, and all so far have had some sort of gap above the top of the swingarm...
HOLY CRAP .... I couldda SWORN that I already responded to this
FREAKY !!!
Anyway ... since the bike is still of the fab stage, could you weld in a small piece to fill in the gap ... similar to stock? Looks pretty simple to do ( from HERE anyway )
I think the inside lip of the fender is curved inward and not just a raw edge. Looks like it might be hard to match. I dont know though, I'll have to look into it...
What's the front fender, stock heritage? I see your rings are powdercoated black. That is what I want to do as well. Did you buy them, or have your stock ones powdercoated? You pretty much have the bike I envision mine to be. It's going to look great. Keep us posted. When it's all said and done, this could be a serious BOTM contender.
Could be??? WILL BE... I love the way it looks... Board do you have a part number for the front fender.. I would love to have something that looks like that on mine. Thanks MayFair, your bike is awesome also.
Part #06-775, straight from Ness. Here is the link. Thanks for all the kind words guys, its much appreciated. I'll be taking the tins over to paint today, so she should be ready to roll within 2 weeks. Keep your fingers crossed...
