I had a Hypercharger on my Sportster a few years ago. I had no complaints whatsoever. I liked it. Thought the moving fins were pretty cool. I went with a Wimmer setup on my Deuce. It looks awesome and doesn't get in the way of my leg like some other aircleaners do. I thought theKuryakyn Corsair Air Cleaner looked good, but it stuck out way too far for me. If you like the look of the Hypercharger, go with it. Everyone is going to have a different opinion of what looks good. A lot depends on the bike you ride and your personal taste.
I too have tossed it around as to wether to put one on or not. Don't let anyone stop you from doing whatever it is you want to do. If YOU like it, then DO IT !!
I believe you guy's are missing the point of his question though ... are there any PROBLEMS associated with filter, not wether you like it or not. No sense bashing the guy ...
Hyperchargers work very well and easily pass enough air for stage 1 tune- good for 95BHP. Chrome quality is excellent and it's also a cool looking piece of kit. No problem at all on my Road King.

It's not.
That said...if you like the looks of it then buy it....but as I said earlier ANY of the air cleaners with a K&N will flow enough air for most motors.
I looked at installation for my 07 Deuce but general opinion from dealers and techs i spoke with was itis mainlya cosmetic installation. A high flow AC will deliver virtually the same performance, so i opted forchanging the AC over and running SERT to work my VH pipes. You've got 2 considerations as i see it. 1. Do you like the look of it? 2. is it worth the money?
I bought mine for the "bling". The open back stock A/C with K&N did a great job, there's no difference in HP that I can tell...the crankcase breather, is another story...I no longer have oil "mist" on the oil tank with the Hyper
