lean?
got hot here today...on way home from hospital visiting wife..i was actually paying attention to my bike........ and i just had it in for just a oil change at 290 miles because the oil was way black. I mentioned to them about the blue pipes. I actually heard the popping on deceleration today.....prompted me to pull plugs when i got home and she cooled off. 2016 fatboy 103B motor. is she lean?

From your post, Its hard to tell how your bike is set up??? Is it stock??? Anyway pipes and a air cleaner and a good tuner, FP3 or power vision will set you straight... Hope your wife is fine BTW!!!!! swifty... also even slip ons will do, science the cats on a softail are in the mufflers....

It should not have decel pop with everything stock. The engines run hot to begin with and a stage 1 will eliminate most of your heat issues. If you're getting decel pop, then I'd start looking at an exhaust leak somewhere. The plugs don't look terrible.

Plugs look alright, but not many miles to tell how lean youre running. You're definitely running lean unless you’ve done a stage. Harley engines favor being slightly rich. Stock tuning is way too lean and youre leaving a lot of performance and rideability on the table without a tune. Thank the EPA for that.
