I've got a '16 Breakout and have noticed the following: twice when riding in town on a fairly warm day I got stopped at a traffic light, the engine all of a sudden seemed to idle differently. When I gave it just a slight twist of the throttle, the engine sounded off just a bit. Does the '16 103 engine have some sort of engine hot mode that would make it run a bit off ? It runs just fine after getting air flow over the engine after leaving the lights. any thoughts are appreciated.
The EITMS is on, with my 16 Deluxe with the ignition on and the cruise control off you roll the throttle to the stop (clockwise) and hold it, the cruise light will flash 3 times: amber is off green is on.
So no harm being done to the engine if the EITMS kicks in ? It didn't do this once last season and only twice this year after installing a Fuelpak 3 map suggested by V&H.

I read a thread some time ago about someone who had had his EITMS turned off and somehow was turned on. The only thing they could come up with was maybe the fuelpack did it. Best suggestion was to email V&H support and see if they're the culprit.
The original poster in that thread I don't think ever came back to report what V&H said.
To the OP - try putting it in ACC mode, then advancing the throttle to the stop and holding it there for 5 seconds, and watching the cruise control dash light. If it flashes orange then you've just turned off the EITMS. If that doesn't work try the same thing in the RUN position. If it works, re-enabling EITMS uses the same routine, but the cruise light will flash green.

It wont hurt anything, you can check your FP3 to see if it's on, and if it is, turn it off if you want ...Go to "View/Edit Maps" and then "System Switches", the default is "off", but it's worth a look...

Which app are you using? Android or iOS? Haven't seen any of that in the Android.
