Default duluxe front end

Does a softail slim front end fit into a 2006 model softail standard?

As far as I know all softail necks are the same length. Rakes differ according to the model. Maybe someone with more softail experience will know. I put a Heritage frontend on a Dyna. Had to grind the stops on the lower tree.

The neck length and angle are common to all Softails. The models with 21" front wheels use raked triple trees to reduce trail and make the front end look longer.

Because the front end is longer. Standard softail are approximately 2 inches longer than say a Fatboy or heritage
