Default internal wiring

anybody run internal inside the risers too? i got the stock handlbar clamp on mine, I was wonderin if I could run my wires inside the risers & bars both

Sure it can be done, but personally, I don't think you'll gain much in the way of looks. You'll have to drill a hole in the bars, between the risers. That's where the wire's will exit the bars. Now drill TWO holes in the riser, on new the bar, one near the tree. Run the wires through the bars, out, then into the risers. Personally, if I kept the stock bars and risers, I'd just run them through the bars. Leave them exposed where the go down to the trees. Go to Pep Boys, Advanced Auto, etc, get some braided hose covering. Cover it for that short, 6" or so area. Much easier than what you're considering. My bike is totally internal wired, front to rear. It makes for a nice look, but is veryyyyy time consuming.

Thanks amigo, I bought the HD conversion for better reach, kinda like the softy standard. I was thinkin of runnin my wires, or just buyin some T-bars and doin that way. dunno, just wanted some thoughts.
