New member and first time HD owner. I just recently bought a 2012 Fatboy Lo that happens to have some extras on it, including some ape hangers. They look good, but I'm a traditionalist and I also want some stock bars to keep around as well. There's a guy not too far from me selling the stock handlebars off his 2014 Fatboy.
Anyone know if his bars would fit my bike? Again, I'm on a 2012 Fatboy Lo, and he's riding a 2014 Fatboy. Thanks for the help!
Depending on how tall those apes are you may have some extra cable length to deal with (optionally). Also, agree with Otter. May need some different risers but otherwise 3.5 inch lug spacing - center to center is standard.
I recently purchased the same bike with ape hangers. The dealer took them off and installed standard bars. Used the same risers but had to installed shorter cables. Of course, they gave me the cheap chrome bars and not the black ones and they kept the ape hangers. Stealers
