My dealer called me this morning. The previous deal fell through so I took Uber down to the dealer (knowing my return trip would be on the Rocker!) and 3 hours later the Rocker is in the garage next to the Dyna
I did take the bike for a test ride and the exhaust was popping on deceleration. After my test ride I asked the dealer to check the ECM to see if it was flashed for Stage I. I expected it was not and that turned out to be the case. They flashed it and the ride is greatly improved. I ordered a V&H FP3 that should arrive on Sunday thanks to Amazon Prime. The other surprise was finding the PO wired the bike with blue LED accent lights. I will have to take another photo later when it's dark outside.
I requested that my sales person call the PO and see if they still have and would provide the stock exhaust system and seat. While the V&H is nice I prefer the 2 into 2 look. I will also look to get a K&H or Screamin Eagle cone air filter as I don't really like to pointy look.
I appreciate everyone's input and look forward to my new ride and project

Thats a beautiful ride bro. You must be happy. I would so do a tank lift on that thing and probably install 2" fork slugs too, but thats just me.

Congratulations! I'm glad the deal went through for you. You'll enjoy it a great deal. Be prepared for people taking pictures of your bike, etc.
The previous owner of my bike installed blue LED's as well. I really like them at night, especially on the highway. People see me a long way off.
Great look'n bike, and welcome to the Rocker club!!! ... The stock exhaust is very restrictive, you'd be better off going with after market, but I did have the stock pipes with slip-ons installed for a while, and they looked and sounded pretty good....and, the FP3 will be a huge improvement over the dealer download, the bike will run much better, and cooler. The decel pop will also probably be gone, but if not, can easily be eliminated with the FP3's "Decel Pop" reduction feature!!

Congrats man! I loved the vivid black, and the blue, and couldn't decide, so I blended them.... Glad you found what you set out for... Just ask if you have questions.
I currently ride an 03 Dyna FXD and after installing a 98" big bore kit I find myself wanting a wider rear wheel and possibly a 6 speed. While researching options I started looking at Rockers and Breakouts for inspiration. Now I am thinking that rather than going through the frame surgery to install a wide rear wheel I am thinking it would be better to find a Rocker to purchase? I would appreciate feedback from those who currently own or have owned Rocker's.
Thanks in advance!
How big do you want to go? the Breakout has a 240 and i think you can put a 260 on it, my Train has a 200, I've owned bigger but I actually like the 200 because I like to ride like a sport bike, lol. No offence but personally I don't care for the looks of the Rocker, just doesn't flow...

The breakout and rocker both came with a 240, and will fit a 260. I'm guessing that's what the OP wanted since he bought a rocker. Everyone is entitled to their own tastes and opinions, and personally I'm kinda glad you don't personally like rockers, it makes bikes like mine separate themselves from the pack of "Average".
