Default Clutch reservoir weeping

I have a pro street breakout with the hydraulic clutch. A couple weeks ago I noticed a light trail of brake fluid running down the reservoir. I've taken it apart a couple of times and been trying to get a good seal with the gasket and torque setting. I have cleaned both the gasket and reservoir with alchol. I thought I had it right it has been completely dry for a whole week and did the dry finger test on one side of the reservoir and it was slightly wet. Is it normal for it to weep sometimes? It was very minimal. Will this be a continuous problem?

Its not the gasket. My bike only has 300 miles on it. The rear brake reservoir did the same thing. When you google this there are a lot of complaints about it. Seems that they all do it but you can really notice when your reservoirs are black not chrome. Chrome doesn't show it unless your looking for it. I guess the gasket is a bad design.

With that mileage, I would be curious to know how your dealer adresssed this complaint.

They said to take it off and clean it and barely snug the screws down. That sometimes they don't get a good seal from the factory. I did that and it helped a lot. After a week it just barely got the front part of the gasket ( right below the breather holes) a slight moisture look. I'm hoping it's still good. Last time it was literally running down the cylinder.

Common problem, many tighten them down way too much.... warps/kinks/damages the gasket....
