How's it make it worse when it fixed it? lol. Sometimes you just gotta look at something and use a little logic.
You can see the washers in the pic on both sides of the black bracket. They are filling the gaps that can't be filled when the bolt is as tight as you can get it. By filling the gaps and fitting up against the washers, the rattle stops because the floorboard can't wiggle around loose anymore. So it's fixed. lol

Tried adding metal washers and the buzzing increased at all rpms. Stopped on the side of the road and pulled them. Loosened everything up and rode with the board a bit loose, which seemed to help. Still more buzz than the left board but better. Gonna try some rubber washers to see if that'll help absorb some buzzing.

You either didn't tighten up the bolts enough or your hearing things. Good luck.

Try some rubber washers. Get them from a hardware store.

You might just rev it up at rest in neutral and see if the boards and bike vibe and at what rpm it starts. That way you could look things over and see if something's loose or moving around.

I have a 17 HSTC too.. very easy solution.. I used clear silicone ( a microscopic amount) on the pivot and it went away. You wont see the stuff either..

That's a great idea I never considered. I have tried both metal and rubber washers and neither worked (actually made it worse). I am getting the least amount of buzz by just running the board fairly loose. I want to do a stage 1 this winter so maybe that'll help. It's interesting that the buzz is only in the right floorboard and only in the 2690-2750-ish rpm range... hit cruise at those rpms and your foot will be asleep in moments.

Thanks!
