Default Handlebar riser questions

Ok, Just trying to sort something out for a future mod on my bike. I am either going to remove the stock risers and have them powder coated black or order some aftermarket ones that are already black. The pricing i am seeing on JP cycles is making it damn close either way in terms of pricing. Now my questions are this. How do i measure the height and pull back on my stock risers. When i tried to measure it a moment ago it seemed i got a stock height of around 5 1/2 to 5 3/4 depending on how i held the tape measure. Now i am to assume i measure the pull back from the center of the mounting bolts to center of the bars. At which point it seems i have a pull back of about 1 1/2" Does this sound correct for the stock risers on a Deuce?

If i am correct on the above...then these aftermarket Risers would put me damn close to being in the stock location. Maybe a touch ahead and a bit lower. But close enough that i am not needing to alter cables/lines.

I put those on my 99 fatboy an they brought the stock bars too far back for me...I'm 5'8" an they made my arms feel cramped. I put the stock risers on with 8" bars an was very happy with that combo...going to use it on my '15 slim when I get time to swap em.

From what i read after looking at some used risers on Ebay..it appears that they might be pretty much the stock dimensions. I have seen them both listed as 5 1/2 rise with 1 inch pull back and 6 inch rise and 1 inch pull back.

If I keep my stock bars I'm going to get some 3 or 4 inch straight rise, the extra pull back isn't good for my elbow pain.
